Solar Power

Lock in Today's Electric Rates for 25 Years with Solar Power!

No system purchase * No installation cost * No maintenance fees

No permit hassles * No performance worries * No rate increases

SAVE CASH, SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT.

REDUCE OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN ENERGY.

Saving money on electricity doesn't just make financial sense. When you're talking about replacing coal, gas, or nuclear energy with solar energy, it makes environmental sense as well. And politically speaking, solar power reduces our nation's dependence on foreign energy sources.

But until now, using solar power in your home involved a huge investment -- generally $40,000 and up. Ugh! When I calculated this investment for our home, I determined that we would probably spend $50,000 or more for a solar panel system. Because we would have to pay interest on that investment until our electric savings paid off, it would have taken us 30 years or more to recoup our investment. Only then would we start saving money!

Good for the environment? For sure. But it doesn't make a lick of financial sense.

But now, I've run across a no-brainer. In fact, the only reason you wouldn't pursue this is if you didn't want solar panels on your home (or on a pole in your yard). But I believe they're going to be a common sight before long, the way satellite systems and phone poles are today, because this new model means that environmental AND financial savings start right away.

Now, before I tell you all about this, let me acknowledge that this page reads a little like an infomercial because I'm so dang excited about this. The thing is, I'm into the idea of holistic living ... especially when it's easy. I like the idea of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from my home and reducing our dependence on foreign energy. And I sure don't mind saving money. So, take my excitement as sincere, but look at the facts to see if this is right for you. Then get in touch if you have any questions.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Citizenrē is a new company sinking hundreds of millions of dollars in start-up costs into turning an inefficient solar panel industry into an assembly-line profit monster. Basically, they're going to turn out high-quality systems at relatively low costs through better numbers, better designs, and better processes.

They will then install their systems FOR FREE onto customer homes. Customers will not own the systems, but will rent them. The flat, monthly rental fee is based on the amount of energy the solar panels are designed to generate on an average month, and is set at the time of installation based on the previous year's rates from your electric company. Renting basically replaces your electric bill at lower rates. And you can lock in those rates for 1, 5, or even 25 years!

In other words, you have no purchase or installation costs because Citizenrē is making money from the sun! So you see why it makes sense for them to operate this way.

The great thing is, the system is integrated with your current electric company, so if you need more electricity than the panels generate, you'll still tap into your current system. But it's in Citizenrē's best interest to provide you with as much energy as possible (see below), so you'll probably find yourself just paying a few bucks a month to your electricity company. This means you don't have to worry much about their rate increases.

Of course Citizenrē only makes money when their panels are working for you. So you can bet they want their systems producing as much of your energy as possible, and they want them working all the time! If you ever have problems with your system, they'll be out there promptly to fix it -- at no cost to you. In fact, they remotely monitor the panels and might even know about the problem before you call.

MY PERSONAL EXAMPLE

Let me tell you how this is working for me, just as an example. The rate that Citizenrē let me lock in when I signed up as a customer was 9.6 cents per kW hour. That's a rental fee for the equipment, based on how much energy the panels produce. In fact, when all was said and done, DTE Energy was charging me 10.5 cents per kW hour at that time -- minimum. (Rates go up as you use more.) And in 2007, my average rate was 11.6 cents per kW hour.

Through 2007, I was using an average of about 1040 kW per month in our home for an average monthly bill of about $120. But had we used Citizenrē at that time, we would have spent just $100.

And that's just the beginning. Imagine how much we're saving as electricity rates increase an average of 2.1% per year. We're estimated to save more than $10,000 over 25 years!

IT GETS EVEN BETTER

Citizenrē is spreading by people telling people. However, unlike a lot of "network marketing" out there, you do NOT have to "buy a product" in order to tell people about it. In fact, you can tell other people (making you an Associate) and make money off their rental fees even if you aren't a Customer of Citizenrē!

(This allows you to be an Associate even if you don't have a home that works with a solar panel system.)

An Associate makes 5% of the rental fee of anyone they have referred to Citizenrē. But guess what?

You can refer yourself and earn 5% of your own bill!

So by signing up as an Associate under the person who told me about Citizenrē and then signing up as a Customer "under myself," I start earning 5% of my rental fees once my solar system is installed. My $100 rental fee (which replaces my $120 electric bill) suddenly becomes $95 after I'm paid my own commission -- a savings of about $25 compared to my DTE Energy bill.

And the Associate I signed up under would make 1% of my bill, and of the bills of everyone who signed up as a Customer under me. Starting to see the picture?

In other words -- you don't have to get involved in network marketing here. No, not at all. But you can start earning money from your own rental fees, which will already be cheaper than your current electric bill that they're replacing.

Of course if you choose to tell others about the program, you'll earn from them as well. This is one program where you're really not selling anything except a way for people to save their cash. Citizenrē will be making money from the sun, so there's no reason to sell anything else! That means Customers do nothing but save.

OTHER BENEFITS:

So at this point, we're likely to save at least $10,000 over 25 years, or about $33 a month because of something we never paid for. I'm making another $5 or so per month by referring our own household. That's another $1500 over 25 years. And when I get new Customers to join, I earn 5% of their bill -- or 1% if they become Associates and refer themselves as Customers.

But did I mention that you can get $100 to $150 when Customers you've signed up for 25-year contracts have their systems installed? And another $100 to $150 after they've been with the company for a year? And even if you only refer yourself as a Customer, that still puts $200 in your pocket in the first year of renting the system.

[But don't worry if you don't like long-term commitments. You can sign up for 1 or 5 year contracts too. You just don't get those sign-up bonuses, and you're not locking in the savings for as long. For me, 25 years of savings just makes a ton of sense. Also, you don't have to worry about moving. If you sign up for 25 years, you can either transfer ownership to the new owner of the home -- a benefit to them, and a reason for them to offer more for your home -- or you can make one move to a new home at no cost. Your system will be moved for you!]

Now let's talk about the environment. On average, each home you switch to solar reduces greenhouse gas emissions in amounts equivalent to the absorption capacity of 400 trees, or what is produced by 24 cars. Imagine if you helped 100 people upgrade to solar. That is 40,000 trees "planted" and 2,400 cars "off the road" because you chose to make a difference.

More than that, let's talk about electric cars. Electric cars are fast developing into a reality. There's one currently selling (high-end) with a 250 mile range, and it's extremely fast. As people start plugging in their cars overnight, this is going to start putting an enormous strain on our current electric grid.

Unless --

Unless we reduce the current strain by getting solar panels on our home, opening up plenty of grid capacity for our cars!

The "CATCH"

Now you've been waiting, right? What on EARTH is the catch?

Well, the CATCH isn't on Earth at all, is it? The catch is the sun. Citizenrē is going to make money from the sun, so there really doesn't need to be any catch at all for you. They've found a new source of revenue.

Still, there are a few things to understand.

First, while you're not investing $40,000 or more in solar panels on your home, you are renting equipment from a company that has built the equipment and is installing it for free. Same as leasing a car, that company is reasonable to ask for a returnable deposit.

When you sign up as a Customer ... you pay nothing. When an engineer comes out to your house to design a system for you ... you pay nothing. Only when you agree to his or her design and commit to having Citizenrē install the system do you pay a $500 to $1000 returnable deposit (depending on the size of your system). This deposit is put into an escrow account and earns interest for you. It is given back to you (with interest) at the end of your contract, and you only lose this deposit if you choose to break your contract.

[This minizes your risk if you're wondering about future technologies that might be better than this. You'll probably save more than your entire deposit within 2 to 3 years, so even if you broke your contract and lost your deposit, you would probably still have saved much more than you lost, plus you were helping the environment along the way!]

Using myself as an example again, I have signed up as an Associate, and then signed myself up as a Customer, and by doing so I will make about $60 in my first year in commissions. I will also get a $100 bonus upon installation and another $100 bonus after one year as a Customer. Finally, I will save around $240 in electricity costs in my first year -- and more than that per year as electricity costs go up.

So in the first year, I will save $240 and earn $260, for a total of $500 in my pocket. After that, I'm earning and saving around $300 per year. (No more bonuses.) So in 3 years, I should earn and save a total of about $1100. That means my deposit -- which is still mine with interest so long as I don't break my contract -- is covered in less than 3 years.

And that assumes that I'm earning NO MONEY by referring other people to Citizenrē. But as you can see, because there is nothing but benefit to the Customer, I am referring this company to help people save money and to help us save the environment. So I'm likely to cover the cost of my deposit in well under 12 months.

Second, becoming an Associate isn't for everyone. One thing I love about this company is that they work with integrity. That means they don't want Associates going out and making inaccurate claims or otherwise misrepresenting the company. So they require that you study some materials -- which took me a few hours -- and then take a test, which I passed the first time. Even if you only want to refer yourself, you still need to take this test to become an Associate first.

If this isn't for you, then you can still sign up as a Customer through my link below to start saving money when your system is installed. I'll make sure you get all the support you need through this process.

Even if you're only a Customer, you can still refer other Customers and get 5% of THEIR bill off YOUR bill. If you refer enough Customers, you could end up with no rental fee at all.

Finally, it's important to understand that this is a start-up company, currently finalizing plans to get their factory built and running. Signing up today doesn't obligate you to anything, but you also won't be getting your system installed tomorrow or anything. They expect to start installing systems in early 2009. You have to see the potential here if you plan on signing up now. (And remember, you're NOT committed to anything if you sign up now.)

But by signing up today, you get onto their "install" list sooner. That means you don't only start saving sooner, but that you're also likely to lock in lower rental rates!

You will NOT be under contract until you have actually signed off on their specific plan of installation for your home. When they are ready to get started, they will contact you to design a system for your home, and only then do you decide if you want to get into a contract and start saving money.

BUT SAVE MONEY AND HELP THE ENVIRONMENT YOU WILL. So I encourage you to sign up today!

Sign up as an Associate here. You will need to study for a few hours and take a test, but you can then refer yourself as a Customer to start earning money from your own rental fees, and you can refer others to earn from their rental fees as well!

Or if you prefer, sign up as a Customer here to simply have a system installed at no cost to you and start saving on electricity ... month after month after month.

Thanks for your interest, and happy savings!
