Global Anthem

The Global Anthem Project was born of my science fiction novel, Darwood & Smitty. The story is set in 2045, and by then Earth government has gone global. Thus the world has an anthem, just as nations do today.

The theme of such an anthem, of course, is unity -- an ideal the Anthem promotes. With that in mind, this project is set up to support "the people of the world." I'm hoping that it will gain interest from professional musicians so we can have a recorded version produced (instruments and chorus) and can use it to raise funds for clean water around the planet.

I also open this up to your creativity. If you have a group and you'd like to develop your own version, please do -- as long as any proceeds go to a charitable cause. (Preferably food, water, and other necessities for people at home and abroad.) If you end up with a great recording and would like it posted here, please contact me. I'll be glad to include a link to your group's website.
