Artists, Contribute for Fun and/or Exposure!

From time to time I have books or videos that could use some illustrations. And while I could just hire a freelance artist and own all the art (and I often just use stock photos), I think it's a lot more fun to collaborate with artists who simply want to contribute and see their art take part in a larger piece or with those who want exposure. Here are some details:

Many projects are open to kids as long as I have permission from a parent / guardian.
Artists with websites can request a link from my website (on the page where the poem is published) but may not include the URL in the image. I will include links to sites that I deem are reasonably family friendly, and reserve the right to remove them if I find the site becomes not family friendly.
Names and ages can be listed on the images (I prefer it so you get credit), and initials are welcome to protect privacy. You add these in the image as you want them to appear.
There is no financial payment for the art. I will spend a little to promote the video and get the artists more exposure, but this is designed for fun and is not a paid opportunity.
Artists retain the rights to their images outside of the project the image is called for.
I am open to all forms of art as long as they can be sent to me as a high-resolution digital image.
I try to give just enough information to let the artist know what the content is about, but don't try to say how the art needs to look -- I'm looking for creative expression!

Submitting art does NOT guarantee it will be used. BUT ... I don't want to waste people's time, so when I'm sure that I have the images I'll use for any request, I will remove that request.
